Program

The Alps Art Academy offers a 10-day program in which key issues in Land and Environmental Art are treated theoretically and practically. The participants will be familiarized with varying historical and theoretical aspects of Land and Environmental Art through practical workshops, informal lectures, artist talks and field trips. The theme for 2022 is LEARNING FROM THE EARTH.

At the same time, led by international instructors, participants will implement the acquired knwowledge in their own projects (objects, texts, mediation concepts, research). The artworks, performances, texts and concepts created during the academy will be presented in Tenna to the public during the final day of the Academy on the 3rd of September 2022 also in the frame of the Biennale Art Safiental (July 02– October 23, 2022).
