Soon is a wooden replica of a robot vacuum cleaner with a one word poem on top. The piece was made in collaboration with three different woodworkers based in the village of Tenna. The work refers to Tenna’s commitment to history and disputable theatricality.
Aaron McLaughlin is an interdisciplinary artist researching the premise of living art formats within our current era of optimisation. His work has included an advertising campaign for a squat, an installation of bionic sheep, and a hyper–domestic robotic ballet. He is currently based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
