Felix Contzen studied at the Art Academys in Cologne and Düsseldorf. He was specially visiting the Media Classes for Video and Photography. (Jürgen Klauke, Marcel Odenbach a.o.)
His work is about the despair of aspiration to be a part of the nature. He is creating works like objects, photos and video wich shows – sometimes humorous, sometimes serious – this topic in a metaphoric way where his performative actions behind the scenes are an important factor.
