Program

The Alps Art Academy offers a 10-day program in which key issues in Land and Environmental Art are treated theoretically and practically. The participants will be familiarized with varying historical and theoretical aspects of Land and Environmental Art through practical workshops, informal lectures, artist talks and field trips.

At the same time, led by international instructors, participants will implement the acquired knwowledge in their own projects (objects, texts, mediation concepts, research). The artworks, performances, texts and concepts created during the academy will be presented to the public during the final day of the Academy) on the 7th of July 2018 which will coincide with the opening of Art Safiental (7th of July – 21st of October 2018) in Tenna.
