Art Safiental 2016
The 1st Art Safiental (2 July – 16 October 2016) presented contemporary forms of Land and Environmental Art. The curator of the exhibition was Johannes M. Hedinger.
The temporary Land and Environmental Art artworks were spread over the entire Safien Valley, from the Rhine Gorge via Versam to Tenna, Thalkirch and Zhinderst. The Alpenblick guest house in Tenna served as an information centre for the exhibition as well as housing a small library on Land Art and the participating artists. At the guest house and at the Safiental tourist information points, as well as in the village shops and inns, an art hiking map was available which provided the exact locations of the works of art and interesting facts about the exhibition, Land Art and the Safiental.
