The Alps Art Academy offers a 10-day programme in which key issues in Land and Environmental Art are treated theoretically and practically. The participants learn about the theoretical aspects of historical and contemporary Land and Environmental Art with practical lectures, artist talks and field trips.
At the same time, participants use what they have learned in their own projects (works, texts, mediation concepts, research) and are accompanied by international coaches. The works, actions, texts and concepts created during the academy week will be presented to the public during the Academy graduation on 7.7.2018 in parallel with the opening of Art Safiental (7.7.-21.10.2018) in Tenna.
The programme consists of the following six modules:
MODULE 1: Workshops
MODULE 2: Master Classes
MODULE 3: Symposium
MODULE 4: Field Trips
MODULE 5: Artist Talks
MODULE 6: Introduction, presentation and reflection
