My project is a performance where i read a poem in Swiss-German from an anthology ‘Und drnaa Ofabenkligschichta us em Riiwaald’. This anthology comprises of short stories and poems about the region in safiental and had been an oral tradition to tell these stories to during winters near the fire place. The story i read is about a conversation between beautiful grey bridge and playful river which connects two valleys together. I chose this poem because it symbolises bridging two cultures yet serves as an expression of being in an alienated space and people.
